Video Clip
Richard Lima is one of the models out there who immediately commands my attention whenever I run across him. So when I saw these photos on the Major Model Management blog I fired up my search engine of choice and satisfied my need for a Richard Lima fix.
Whether it be Cartier, Versace, Ralph Lauren, or Playgirl (yeah, you heard me) -- Richard can do no wrong in my eyes. Please consider me an official fan. (Suggested fan club name for fellow gays who are also enamored? Lima queens.)
The time has come... Broadway Bares is among us once again! Daniel Robinson has been tapped to direct the Broadway Bares documentary celebrating the event's 20 years.
In addition to making a donation for your favorite Broadway Bares stripper, they are seeking some donations to help cover the costs of making the documentary. You can donate at http://www.broadwaybaresdocumentary.com.
Broadway Bares is one of the sexiest, wildest nights of the theatre year. But it's also a fundraising powerhouse for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS - having raised over six million dollars since its first performance in 1991. The brainchild of choreographer/director Jerry Mitchell--one of the creative forces behind Hairspray, The Full Monty, and Legally Blonde--Broadway Bares is an amazing humanitarian and financial achievement whose audience and influence grow every year. It represents the hard work (and harder bodies) of hundreds of working professionals, who volunteer their time and talents to make this show a success.
Special Bonus after the jump... a video of GLEE's Matthew Morrison shaking his stuff at a past Broadway Bares event!

International visitor? try YouTube version.
P.S. Congratulations go out to Jane Lynch, who married her partner Lara Embry over the weekend. :)
My apologies to our international readership, but this clip was too good not to share - even though it will only play for visitors from the United States.
Olivia Newton-John joined the cast of GLEE this week for a new version of her iconic song Physical with Jane Lynch (who plays evil cheer squad coach Sue Sylvester in the show.)
UPDATE: Heroic reader Mike was nice enough to share the YouTube link of the video with us, for all of our international guests! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thlogramihg -- thanks, Mike!
The song itself is also available for purchase on iTunes.
Happy Earth Day! The featured model from Support Nature Project this week is Jake Kelly.
Jake has been a dedicated long distance runner most of his life. When he's not sprinting down the trails he loves to embrace his artistic sprit. He enjoys acrylic painting and his true passion is the theatre. He has recently performed in local productions of A Chorus Line, Cats, and The Rocky Horror Show.
Jake is excited to participate in the Support Nature Project. To do his part to assist preservation of the environment he drives a Civic Hybrid, uses fluorescent light bulbs, and purchases organic and locally grown foods whenever possible.
Check out all of the previously featured Support Nature Project guys at http://hunk.at/SupportNatureProject, plus their Earth Day Video is after the jump!

DIRK BOGARDE: 1921-1999
So, here's "the dish" on Dirk. Dirk Bogarde, with his huge sad eyes and dark brooding good looks, was the leading matinee idol of the 1950's in England and had been for ten years by the time he made Victim in 1961. Basically considered the Robert Pattinson of his day, he was chased through the streets and haunted and hunted by paparazzi wherever he went for his romantic roles in British romances and his appearances in the hugely popular Carry On series.
I'd totally forgotten about this video - Toni Braxton and her friends voting on the guys they call over to her apartment using oversized playing cards... and some of them are definitely 10s! I think I need to move into this flat...
Fun fact: Toni ends up choosing Bryce Wilson in the end -- who was one of the writer/producers of the song!
Week five of Support Nature Project - whose featured model this week is Lance Winters.
We're hitting the road! I'm off to Dallas this evening with our 2010 Model Search winner, Jesse Blum! We'll be meeting up with Alan Rust from On Display Men and Jay Fuertez to shoot Jesse for the Support Nature Project -- watch our Twitter and Facebook pages for mobile updates over the weekend!
Lance is a relatively new model with stunning potential. Modeling is not his ultimate goal, however. "I want to finish school with a Doctorate and become a psychologist for teens. My big dream is to be an actor, though. Overall, I just want to be the best person I can be." This model stays in shape doing both cardio and weight training. He also plays the occasional game of golf, basketball or football. If Lance doesn't get chosen for a particular job, he doesn't sweat the small stuff; rejection simply doesn't faze him. "Rejection doesn't bother me. I don't care what people think." Admittedly, Lance hardly gets any time to relax, and when he does, he prefers to spend it sleeping. However, he and his friends enjoy some downtime playing video games.
Since Lance enjoys being outdoors playing various sports he strongly believes in a better environment. He is glad to be part of this project to raise awareness about a better environment for us and our children. Of course, he recycles as we all should and he is going to look at other ways he can participate in environmental projects this year.

Photographer Bradford Rogne (previous coverage) takes us behind-the-scenes of his calandar shoot with Jessie Pavelka (previous coverage) for the first 2011 calendar we've got on our radar!
Bradford had this to say about the shoot:
Jessie and I had been talking about shooting a calendar for a while now, so when the perfect opportunity presented itself, we jumped right in! 90% of the calendar was shot in one day, between my studio in downtown LA and a super slick house in the Hollywood Hills. It was a race for time, but we managed to get everything shot before sunset. More images that you won't see in the calendar coming soon!
Thanks, Bradford... we can't wait!

We told you about the 2010 Undergear Calendar yesterday... well, we just got this behind-the-scenes video as well, check it out!
Imagine that you're a blogger -- you've woken up and taken a shower, and set out to do your 5:00AM rounds on the internet to see what happened overnight. This was the first thing you came across.
I've seen bits and pieces of this video from Tyler Shields trickle out on his YouTube channel... but wow what a difference when they are all tied together into this frantic explosion from his head.
I feel like either this is going to be an awesome day, or that America's favorite mouse is going to mug me in the parking garage.
Check out the first of (hopefully) many backstage videos from Dolce&Gabbana - it is a shoot for their Mens Spring/Summer 2010 campaign!
Mark Salling showed us on a recent episode of Glee that he can hold his own amongst the cast, with an inspired version of Sweet Caroline on a recent episode (see the video after the jump!).
What you might not have known is that he covertly released his debut solo album under the pseudonym Jericho. Mark's official site has sample tracks and you can find the album, Smoke Signals available for purchase on his website (along with a signed photo!) or available on iTunes.

B-Side Blog shares this awesome clip from Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? -- starring the Cougariffic Meredith Vieira who hilariously preys on Navy pilot Max Shuman.
Gavin Creel is my boyfriend and doesn't know it... besides the whole "sex on legs" thing, the man is absolutely energized and spreading the word about the October 11th National Equality March this weekend in Washington DC.
Please visit BroadwayImpact.org, and EqualityAcrossAmerica.org today to learn about the march, as well as events in your city if you can't reach Washington DC.
