Featured model from Support Nature Project this week is Christopher Howell.

My name is Christopher Howell and I was born on July 20, 1984. I'm a professional and International Actor/Model/Dancer. Growing up, I lived in several different states across the US. While living in all of these different places, I learned how to make friends quickly and how to always keep a positive attitude no matter what situation I'm put into. When it came to school, I played as many sports as possible because I love to experience new things. Before I knew it, several years of fun had passed and here I am now. My constant drive to be perfect (acquired from the military) has left me with a great background in all sports, including martial arts, and a personality that tends to draw people towards me.

When it comes to our environment, I try to tread as lightly as possible. (pick up trash, wash cloths in cold water, unplug everything around the house, walk or catch rides when I can) Community wise, I love to help out in any way shape or form. Donating cloths, helping out at fundraising events, volunteering at food drives, handing out gift packages to the unfortunate around the holidays, and constantly planting plants into my patio garden.

We're excited to share these two shots with you of 2010 Hunk du Jour Model Search winner Jesse Blum! He is looking amazing in these photos by Adam Medders Photography for On Display Men and Hunk du Jour.

Hunk du Jour flew Jesse to Dallas for a fantastic weekend with a brilliant team, and these two shots came from the our first day of the two-day session. Jesse was a complete professional, and chimed in with his own great ideas on poses and looks.

While the bedroom shoots were comfortably warm, Jesse found out exactly how chilly things could get in Texas during our outdoor location shoots -- with temperature hovering at around 40F, he had to keep his gaze smoldering. You can see from the results that he dug deep and made it happen.

Featured model from Support Nature Project this week is Richard Maceyra.

I grew up in a small town, Lampasas, Texas, and was never far from any athletic sport being played. I enjoy meeting new people and learning new ways to further myself as a person and in the entertainment industry. I started my college career in theatre at Trinity Valley Community College and graduated with my Associate of Arts Degree and then transferred to the University of Texas at Arlington where I work to obtain my Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. Upon receiving by B.S., I would then seek my M.S. in the same area and work to establish a foundation in my career. I have plans to move to California and seek out the adventure of auditions and casting calls, modeling and/or acting, as my dream is to star in a film or television series.

There are many ways one can aid the environment around them. For example, hand washing dishes and avoiding disposable silverware and dinnerware, avoid driving everywhere, planting or gardening, eating out less or simply recycling. Being a college student, I have the option of driving everywhere but instead I decide to put my body to work by riding my bicycle especially over the summer to work. I hand wash all my dishes and I oppose using the dishwasher and hardly use disposable items like paper towels for cleaning. Manual labor is better. I believe the most important activity that I have done has been planting trees, flowers, or bushes on my parent's property. The results of planting have many effects such as more shade for the house which permits the reduction in air conditioning during the summer heat as well as making the air around the yard prone to being clean due to the release of plant oxygen and carbon dioxide absorption.

Jared is completely dreamy and completely unattainable (straight & engaged), but I don't let that get in the way of my affection for him and his work.

Featured model from Support Nature Project this week is Tyrone Betters.

Hello my name is Tyrone Betters. I am a 19 year old college student from Dallas, Texas. I am currently a sophomore at Georgia Southern University majoring in business management. I started my modeling career my freshmen year of college, when I tried out for a fashion show and liked it so much that I wanted to get better at modeling. Ever since then I have had numerous shoots, been in numerous shows, and now I am really making this my career choice. I want to be one of the best male models of my time period. I feel that I do have a lot to offer to the industry and I can be very successful. I also one day want to own various businesses. I wouldn't call myself and environment freak, but I feel that in order to keep a clean environment you have to start with yourself. I make a habit to recycle all that can be. Whether it be soda cans, water bottles, cardboard boxes, if it can be recycled I recycle it. Georgia Southern has recycle bens all around the campus so there is no problem doing it. When I am walking and I see some paper or something on the ground, I take the initiative and pick it up and throw it away. I try to reframe from littering unless it's like excess fruit or something because that can actually help the environment. I understand that industry has also been going green, so it would be a good idea to have shoots that support the green movement.

Week five of Support Nature Project - whose featured model this week is Lance Winters.

We're hitting the road! I'm off to Dallas this evening with our 2010 Model Search winner, Jesse Blum! We'll be meeting up with Alan Rust from On Display Men and Jay Fuertez to shoot Jesse for the Support Nature Project -- watch our Twitter and Facebook pages for mobile updates over the weekend!

Lance is a relatively new model with stunning potential. Modeling is not his ultimate goal, however. "I want to finish school with a Doctorate and become a psychologist for teens. My big dream is to be an actor, though. Overall, I just want to be the best person I can be." This model stays in shape doing both cardio and weight training. He also plays the occasional game of golf, basketball or football. If Lance doesn't get chosen for a particular job, he doesn't sweat the small stuff; rejection simply doesn't faze him. "Rejection doesn't bother me. I don't care what people think." Admittedly, Lance hardly gets any time to relax, and when he does, he prefers to spend it sleeping. However, he and his friends enjoy some downtime playing video games.

Since Lance enjoys being outdoors playing various sports he strongly believes in a better environment. He is glad to be part of this project to raise awareness about a better environment for us and our children. Of course, he recycles as we all should and he is going to look at other ways he can participate in environmental projects this year.

Week four of Support Nature Project - whose featured model this week is Hasani Bryan.

Originally from Chicago, IL and raised in Indiana, Hasani Bryan is a city boy who has always had an appreciation of nature and a general belief in the inherent good of humanity. Originally attending college with the intent of going on to medical school, he was moved midway through his academic career with the desire to entertain. While participating in a charity fashion show he developed a love of the fashion industry and became involved with various shows and campaigns. 

Hasani moved to Dallas, TX after graduating from school to pursue a career in runway and commercial modeling. While in Dallas, he learned about the various ways in which the Earth has suffered from years of neglect. Knowing that every little bit helps, he lives an environmentally friendly lifestyle by shopping for organic foods, using cloth shopping bags and environmentally friendly products, carpooling when possible and supporting environmentally conscience projects and campaigns. Hasani Bryan's motto is that, "We have this one Earth, why not take care of it?" He currently splits his time between modeling and preparing to go back to school to become an Infectious Disease physician.

Week two of Support Nature Project - whose featured model this week is Chad Washington. Chad says:

I started modeling two years ago when approached by a magazine editor at a gym I personal trained at. I have always been in shape but modeling helped push me to work out more. I constantly studied the art of modeling and the creative side as well. I love being in from of the camera and seeing creative individuals mesh together and make magic.

My goal with modeling is to be a recognized face and name. I also aspire to be a working model in New York City and use modeling to open up other avenues. I would love to grace the top fashion magazines and fitness magazines.

Coming from a small town i recognize the importance of everyone pulling together to make the community better. So, I volunteer my services once a week to helping pick up around my neighborhood and also picking up around my workplace. Although its hard work, I realize that the effort I put in matched with others help make my community and this world a better place.

This week Support Nature Project officially kicks off, raising money for Plant a Billion Trees!

As you know, we're in the final judging process for our 2010 Model Search where Hunk du Jour will be adding our own selected model to the roster of guys asking you to C-IN2 nature. Our winner will be flown to Dallas to participate in his own Support Nature Project shoot, as well as get some quality time in with On Display Men founder Alan Rust and photographer Jay Fuertez!

Support Nature Project has been doing scouting of their own, and the first featured model in the campaign is Cade Wilson. Learn more about him below!

I am a 19 year old full time college student and full time job holder. I actually have two jobs, one is at Chili's bar and grill and the other is at Abercrombie and Fitch. At the moment I go to a local community college but plan to transfer to a major university within a year. I am very busy during the week and on weekends but still mix in a little fun every now and then. Life is too short not to live a little. I love modeling. I have loved it ever since I can remember. I would like to get signed by a major modeling agency and travel the world. Be the next big time model, a household name. But at the same time not compromise my morals and beliefs. I am a very driven person and won't stop till I am the best at whatever it is that I put myself into. I like having the camera on me; there is so many things that can be said through a picture and the expressions and backgrounds. It is truly a blessing and an honor to be able to do what i do.

Keeping our environment is so important and everybody needs to do their part. Not only do I recycle but doing something as small as carpooling to work and school or turning off lights when you leave a room are all helpful. I support our nations going green and not having to rely on so much foreign oil to run this country. I am currently in the process of getting together an awareness group at my local college to go around and raise questions to classes and give answers on how to help our world become a more green place. I want my kids, kids, kids, kids, kids to be able to enjoy this earth as much as I have.

We asked Cade how he felt about being selected as the first model to launch this Project. He said, "I am honored to be the first model picked to launch this project. Helping support our planet in any way possible is crucial and I am always looking to do my part".

Released just after our calendar round-up post, Calendar Men : Ten Stunning Calendars for 2010, we've been sent these gems. From the looks of these behind-the-scenes photos of the 2010 Undergear Calendar shoot, it looks like they had an excellent chance of making our list.

Amongst the models in the calendar is a Hunk du Jour favorite, Alex Prinz (previous coverage), who also got a chance to roam the streets of New York on Halloween last year as one of Undergear's dark angels. Also appearing are James Gardino, Paul Maroon, Oraine Barrett (previous coverage), Ryan Friend, and Carlo Romero.

Here are some new Timoteo backstage photos from the Latin Factory VI Fashion Show that have been going around today. The event benefited the community service organization Bienestar. Bienestar originated as a direct result of neglect and non-existent HIV/AIDS services for the Latino community. Since then, Bienestar has evolved into a multi-service, multi-center agency, offering services throughout Los Angeles County, San Bernardino County, and San Diego.

Beautiful guys for a beautiful cause... can charity events ever go wrong when they involve underwear models? (That's Chad above... and Tommy is after the jump!)
