More tasty morsels from photographer Fred Goudon for you today... this time a bright & airy photo shoot with Maxwell Zargoski!
David Axell is a dream come true for lovers of redheads, and in this spread for the August 2012 issue of Manner Magazine you can see why. Photographer Richard Gerst teamed up with Fredo (Styling) and Riad Azar (Opus Beauty, Grooming) for the insomnia-inspiring shoot... and was good enough to share the results with you!
For those brand-conscious types wanting to look like David... check out: Thomas Pink, Briel, Oliver Peoples, Michael Bastian, Moscot, Ermenegildo, Zegna, Paul Smith, Hugo Boss, Yuasa, Kimono House, Alpina, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Bally, and Girard-Perregaux.
I'm a naughty blogger -- I should be taken upstairs and spanked. However, instead of wallowing in self-pity or making grandiose promises of a changed world and being a new man... I'll quietly write a new post.
Fred Goudon is a killer photographer, and a swell guy. He e-mailed out of the blue in 2010 to let me know about his newly-published calendar of Gilles Marini (who was fresh off his revealing performance in the Sex and the City movie) and has been nice enough to keep me up to date with his goings-on... they live in a folder named "To Post" (which was named with the most noble of intentions.)
Thanks for keeping me in the loop Fred (and all of you other lovely people) -- I'm sorry I've been so neglectful.
Direct from the man himself, check out an exclusive first look at Jack Mackenroth's latest photo shoot by Jorge Rondon. They recently shot in Miami and I think you'd agree they got some excellent images.
I quizzed Jack about how the shoot came about:
Believe it or not we met on Grindr. He saw my pic and asked if he could shoot me. He is based in Florida and I have a place there so we shot on the beach. I pretty much let him take creative control because I have done so many shoots I'm basically out of ideas. I'm not a huge fan of eye make up but I just went with it. It was freezing cold all day and my eyes and nose were runny messes between shots. Jorge was really cool and he knew what he wanted so I appreciate that. I don't always have to love the styling to love the photos. He is a master at lighting.
For the beach shots where I'm lying down the waves kept coming up and freezing my nether regions. Oh the glamour!
Check out Erasmo Viana in these photos by Cesar Dutra for New Captain Underwear that their PR folks were kind enough to send over. Now if they'd send over their full product line as well as Erasmo to help me decide which to wear each day I think I could die a happy man...
My buddy Bronson posted the video above of Miles Fisher giving us a music video homage to American Psycho Patrick Bateman... complete with underwear workout video footage. What do you think?
Jack Mackenroth has a lot going on at the moment! He has been nominated for a National Lampoon twitter award in the category of "Best Gay." He's out there drumming up support, so head over to National Lampoon and give him a vote!
Jack is also working to raise money and awareness for HIV with a 15-month beefcake calendar featuring the work of some stellar photographers. The star of said calendar? Well, Jack of course!
The autographed calendar includes work from Adam Bouska, Rick Day, Carsten Fleck, Frank Louis, James Franklin, Karl Giant, Thommas Synnamon, Mattheus Lian, Richard Gerst, Ray John Pila, Sonny Tong, Thomas Evans, Krys Fox and Preston Cros.
You can purchase the calendar on Jack's website, and all proceeds benefit amfAR --
The American Foundation for AIDS Research.

Hope you've had a great week, and are looking forward to an even better weekend.

So what do you think, do gentlemen prefer blondes?
Editor's Note Say hello to Alex Mentele, who I invited to share some information about the BC Cancer Foundation's Underwear Affair 10K -- and some photos we recently shot together! Support Alex via his fundraising page. -Chris
It's estimated that nearly half of all new cancer cases in 2011 will be cancers 'below the belt;' colorectal, prostrate, ovarian, cervical and testicular cancer, among others, according the BC Cancer Foundation. These numbers are too great to ignore.
The work that the Underwear Affair is doing has inspired me. Over the course of the last decade, foundations like the Susan G. Komen Foundation have brought attention to breast cancer; a cancer which once was as ignored as these cancers are now, because of the social awkwardness associated with that part of the body. The success of events like 'The 3 Day' speak for themselves.
I've NEVER seen anything as creative as the Underwear Affair to bring attention to this cause, which is why I have been so enthusiastic and excited to be involved! It's my hope that the Underwear Affair will continue to 'bring awareness to down-there-ness,' and we can help increase prevention techniques that are used until we have the resources to eliminate these diseases.

From our friends over at Gay Bachelor Blog comes delightful Simon! Simon is a performance artist and sometimes-bartender in London.
When asked by GBB about what he is looking for in a guy, he said:
"The number one quality I look for in a guy is humility and an amazing sense of humour, after that, I guess you can't really compromise with chemistry and amazing sex in the long run, it's either there or it's not, but charming, masculine, sexy guys with a lot of ambition, drive and a youthful spontaneous energy (regardless of age) are always welcome."
Do you have what Simon is looking for?
Toned, tattooed, and tousled, Parker Hurley appears in this reel from Red Model Management.
Fellow guycandy appreciation site MaleModel.us provides this photo of Paco Pepe, captured in the midday sun by photographer Salvador Pozo. Check out the original post for more photos of Paco.
Here's what Scott had to say about the shoot:
"Jesse was referred to me by a model from the UK. Actually a female model who I had never met but she told him he should shoot with me. So Jesse flew up to LA from Florida last summer and we did his first real shoot. I really liked his look and his eagerness to learn and he took direction very well. We stayed in touch throughout the year and I asked him to come back to LA for another shoot.
"We shot again earlier this year over the course of two days and then I made some intros for him in NYC- he has some amazing opportunities coming his way and I am very happy to have been a part of getting him started."
We're very happy about it as well, best of luck to you Jesse!
Happy Birthday to model Sebastien Vachon, who celebrates today with these new photos from a recent shoot with photographer Rick Day!
A note from Sebastien:
I come from a very small town where very few gays were out of the closet. I took all the bad energy from bullying, high school people negativities, no-self confidence and all the rejections that came afterwards - as a motivation to outshine myself. This gave me order to just be in peace and happy about myself. Coming to New-York and shoot with the amazing Rick Day wasn't something I thought possible looking back 5 years ago.
