We're excited to share these two shots with you of 2010 Hunk du Jour Model Search winner Jesse Blum! He is looking amazing in these photos by Adam Medders Photography for On Display Men and Hunk du Jour.
Hunk du Jour flew Jesse to Dallas for a fantastic weekend with a brilliant team, and these two shots came from the our first day of the two-day session. Jesse was a complete professional, and chimed in with his own great ideas on poses and looks.
While the bedroom shoots were comfortably warm, Jesse found out exactly how chilly things could get in Texas during our outdoor location shoots -- with temperature hovering at around 40F, he had to keep his gaze smoldering. You can see from the results that he dug deep and made it happen.
Keep an eye out for more photos of Jesse from the weekend, plus Jesse's contribution to the Support Nature Project!

Chris M, Hunk du Jour: We're here with Michael DiMartino, from YouTube, who you've probably seen in that awesome Womanizer fan video where he signs the entire song... welcome, Michael!
Michael DiMartino: Thanks Chris!
UPDATED Video Address
Chris M, Hunk du Jour: You released another video last week too, correct?
Michael DiMartino: Yes, thats right. If You Seek Amy, by Britney Spears
Chris M, Hunk du Jour: Ahh, yes! So that's an interesting song in that if you hear someone SAYING "If You Seek Amy" it's quite a different effect than if you're just reading it on a page (or seeing it signed, I imagine.)
Michael DiMartino: Right. There is definitely the acronym for an obsenity that everyone has become aware of. When I first thought about doing the song I struggled with that.
As an interpreter I had to figure out how to put the MEANING of the song (the obscenity, the sexual undertone) without losing the gimmick of the song's phrase "If you Seek Amy." I decided to play with the idea of a girl named amy leaving me a note in bed, and chasing her throughout the video. And using a split screen to sign the two phrases "If You Seek Amy" and "F U * K Me"

It's a Hunk du Jour dream team on the cover of DNA this month... one of our favorites Alex Prinz appears in a spread by another fave, Dean Stockings! The boys sent me these thoughts about the experience, enjoy!
Dean Stockings: Alex Prinz and I had been aware of each others work from various publications and websites and contacted each other to see how we could work together on a project. Alex had limited time, and I was in the process of renovating a flat, so it was going to be difficult to fit a test shoot in. I then had the idea of actually combining the renovation with the shoot, and working with the mess that was around me at the time, rather than trying to disguise it! Alex had done a bit of decorating himself in the past, so I persuaded him it would be a good idea to give me a hand and do a shoot at the same time. I promised him a few beers and some decent shots in return and so we set a date later the following week.As you can see, it was a very worthwhile project, and every shot was worthy of going to print. Once the beer started to take effect, Alex peeled off the decorating gear, and it soon turned into a really hot shoot. Once we had sent the images out to try and place them, we realised we were onto something good and had the pick of several magazines who wanted to publish them, but eventually placed them with DNA magazine, and you can see more of the set in issue 111, out now.
Alex Prinz: This was actually my first ever shoot with Dean, and one of my first ever to start my modelling career. Originally it was a test, but we quickly realised that we clicked, and were going to produce some great stuff. We shot it in the summer of 2008 in Dean's house on the south coast of England. First thing with Dean, get the kettle on, shortly followed by music, a brief of what we are trying to create, and then we get down to work. Its really that easy, and it works. Two sessions, two covers (DNA & reFRESH)- I say no more, the man is talented behind the lenses! Dean was renovating at the time of this shoot, so I thought I'd give him a hand, and that became the story of the pictures.
Dean promises that once their hectic schedules clear up a bit, you can expect to see more from this dynamic duo! I know we can't wait!

Check out our awesome exclusive chat with UK cutie Jake Hook -- where he dishes about his career, the transition from the pop world, future plans and streaking in France.
Jake has a passion for his music, a love of adventure and mischief, while being a truly nice guy at the core. Meet him, after the jump!
Michael Brent has been getting more and more attention on the web lately, so we caught up with him for a little Q&A to ask him some incredibly topical and hard-hitting questions!
...ok, maybe it was more like what his favorite movies are, getting swindled at age 14 by a faux agency, and how awkward of a teenager he was.
At any rate, it was a very fun conversation - I hope you enjoy it too!
We're so privileged to get in touch with some stellar photographers whose work we really admire. Photographer Bradford Rogne sent over these photos from his LASC campaign, featuring Jakub Stefano. He was also nice enough to answer a few of our questions in this exclusive Q&A!
How did you get connected with Jakub for the shoot?
Jakub and I actually connected thru MySpace, and decided we wanted to eventually work on a project together. He emailed me in January to let me know he'd be back in LA soon, so when this opportunity came up, I thought he'd be perfect! And he was!
What did it take for you to capture the mid-air shots of Jakub?
Well, I went out and got a trampoline for the shoot. But, little did I know how high Jakub can jump on his own. No trampoline required! Even with a basketball injury, he was able to stay in the air thru-ought the shoot, no problem. So, if anyone wants to buy a trampoline... :-)
What is your favorite photo from the campaign?
I have so many favorite images from the shoot. One of them is the jumping photo with the green tank top, yellow shorts and purple high tops. [ Ed - see the shot below! ] It's just a fun shot, and really captures the essence of what I wanted to get from the shoot.
What is the next project we can expect to see from you?
I'll have behind the scenes video and bonus photos for you this week, from my shoot with Instinct Magazines April 2009 cover shoot. I'll also have an undiscovered face for you to enjoy. A blue eyed Columbian beauty. Check back soon!

Photographer Dean Stockings and covermodel Simone Lucioli got caught up in the bitter winter storm last month in London, nearly missing the deadline for the reFRESH magazine cover they were shooting! In this Hunk du Jour exclusive, I asked Dean how the cover ended up coming together:
Dean Stockings: This shoot took place during the week of snow we had in the UK back at the beginning of February. It was due to take place on 2nd, but London, and most of the country, came to a complete stand still... Very frustrating when you have a couple of hot guys lined up for a reFRESH cover shoot! By mid afternoon we realised that there was no way we were going to be able to all get together, either by rail road or air, so we reluctantly postponed. Finally the snow began to melt and we were able to rearrange the shoot for the Wednesday. As the deadline was Thursday we knew we were cutting it fine, but there was nothing we could do. It still took Simone and Pierpaolo about two hours longer than usual to get here, and Simone had an important client booking for hair and make-up that evening, so we knew we were going to be really pushed for time. We kept in contact via phone, and Simone decided it would be best if they could do their hair and make-up on the train to save time when they got here - luckily that was going to be Simones job all along, so he had everything he needed, and set to on the train in a quiet corner, although several commuters were still giving them funny looks apparently!
As soon as the guys arrived, we rushed down to the studio at the bottom of my garden and got down to getting the desired cover shot. It was very brief, but with some cool underwear and a couple of sizling hot models, it's amazing how little time you need...
Such a great cover -- we would have never guessed about the adventure leading up to it's creation! Special thanks to Dean Stockings for this exclusive insight!

How long have you been in the U.S. and what brought you here?
I have been in L.A. since May 2007 and have yet to return home for a visit. I made the jump to the U.S. to further my career within the entertainment industry. Acting and modeling is not work for me, its fun, exciting and grants the opportunity to meet some amazing and influential people. It's a passion and one must make extreme sacrifices to follow their dream.
Will Wikle may have started out on reality television on Big Brother, but he's up on the big screen now in Another Gay Sequel. This raunchy gay answer to teen sex comedies has headed off to the beach, and from the sound of it we aren't exactly talking about the next Frankie & Annette film.
Check out our exclusive interview with Will after the jump -- plus a link to a photo from this sultry photo shoot he did with photographer Rick Day that is even too hot for HDJ!

Hunk du Jour heartthrob Calisto Harvalias may not have taken the crown at the Mister USA 2008 Pageant, but we're still really proud of everything he does!
Calisto was second runner up (and Mister Congeniality!), and took the time to share these insider photos of the event... including his runway walk during the swimsuit competition! He ultimately lost out to Ivan Rusilko, who will be going on to represent the United States in November at the Mister International 2008 Pageant in Taiwan.

Saturday night we had the pleasure of joining Menswear designer and Project Runway 4 contestant Jack Mackenroth (previously interviewed here) for Black Tie Bingo, a swanky night of Gay Bingo benefiting Lifelong AIDS Alliance in Seattle.
The evening began in the lobby of the Grand Hyatt as cocktails were poured amongst contortionists, stiltwalkers, and acrobats from local circus troupe Pure Cirkus. Guests were dressed to the nines, perhaps hoping to impress Jack with their tuxedo selection.
Once inside, Doug and I found ourselves seated at the Friends & Family table and were suddenly making friends with Jack's family and sitting alongside Jack himself for part of the night! Jack was completely sweet and lovely, of course -- we chatted a little more about his experience on the show, whether he'd consider going back for another season, and what he's been up to lately. Interrogation and photo (see me, Jack, and Doug above!) now aside, Doug and I continued tipping back cocktails and bestowed "insta-friend" status on Jack's sister Sarah (last picture.)
Before the main bingo games start, Lifelong AIDS Alliance raised a cool and quick $60,000 in their "raise the paddle" for the organization. One lady (accompanied by a fellow we simply called "the silver fox") kicked off the paddle-raising with an amazing $5,000 donation, preparing folks to go big or go home!
Jack then took the stage with bingo hostess Sylvia O'Stayformore, where the bingo games then kicked off. Officiated by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence (Abbey of St. Joan), vacations were the prize of choice -- each package more fabulous than the previous.
After the event wrapped up at the Grand Hyatt, guests were whisked off by limousine (or walked, which we chose to do) a few blocks to The Baltic Room for The Official After Party. More drinks, mingling, and dancing ensued -- and we chatted with Sarah and her friends, deciding being downstairs was much more fun than the VIP room anyway.
Lifelong AIDS Alliance put on a great event with a fantastic hope, and raised a bunch of money for the organization at the same time. Congratulations on the big success, and thanks so much to Jack Mackenroth for taking the time out of his busy schedule to participate.
Photos from the event can be found at seattlepaparazzi.com, where you can buy prints and full size digital versions -- all proceeds benefit Lifelong AIDS Alliance.

After the jump is our exclusive interview with upcoming DNA Covermodel Calisto. After pitching the idea while on a gig at New York Pride last year, Calisto heard that they liked the idea (and the photo spread shot by Chris Hager) and that he landed the cover!
We initially heard about Calisto after one of our readers, Walter, talked to him at a meet-and-greet at a local bar. Walter was so impressed with how sweet and friendly Calisto was he sent us a note suggesting a feature... and who were we to argue?
After the jump we chat about making it into DNA, the five photographers we should be paying more attention to, and how growing up as a nerdy kid in North Carolina helped him realize he wanted to help troubled teens.
Ivri Lider is a superstar in his native country Israel, but that could all change in 2008 as he launches both a new Hebrew and English album. The video for his English song Jesse has gotten a lot of airtime on LOGO TV here in the states, and Out Magazine recognized him as a member of the "Out 100" for 2007.
We got the chance to pop a few questions to Ivri, who just started working full time on the two albums while at the same time producing for fellow Israeli superstar Rita. He has some interesting things to say about his life and his work -- check out our entire interview after the jump!
Hunk du Jour: In 2006 you toured in the United States for the first time -- what kind of reception did you get from US fans?
Ivri Lider: We had a great time touring the States last year. The fans were great, very supportive, and their energy was amazing. It was really a wonderful experience for my band and me. Traveling to a different city everyday isn't something you get to do in Israel because it's such a small country, so that was definitely one of the highlights of the trip.
HdJ: Did you have a favorite stop on your tour? Somewhere that you are anxious to return to?
IL: Of course the show at the Avalon Club in New York City was really amazing for us because so many people came out to the event. But also I can remember the show Ann Arbor, Michigan at the Bling Pig Club with pictures of Nirvana on the wall in a dingy little rock club packed with a young, enthusiastic crowd. I'd actually really love to go back to both of those places sometime in the near future.
The Project Runway premiere is just over a week away, and if you're anything like me then you are more than anxious to get your Runway fix again.
Jack Mackenroth is one of the new designers who initially caught my eye. Then he caught my interest as I heard more about his background as a medalist in multiple Gay Olympic games, his openness about being an HIV-positive man, and about being a Seattle native. (Got to root for our own, Seattle!) He is designing his own line of mens shirts and pants, as well as a memoir about his life experiences.
Jack agreed to do a little Q&A with Hunk du Jour about his life leading up to Runway -- and kept his lips sealed about what we can expect in the new season (premieres November 14th, 2007 on Bravo.)
For more information about Jack, read our full interview after the jump and then check out his new website, jackmackenroth.com!
Hunk du Jour: What was your auditioning experience like for the latest season of Project Runway?
Jack Mackenroth: The audition process is very elaborate. They need to make sure that you have a clear design point of view and that you have the necessary skills to handle the challenges. You need to be able to illustrate, pattern draft, sew, drape and know your fabrics all while looking pretty and be interesting. Personally for me the process was fairly positive. Tim thought I could push the envelope with my designs because my aesthetic is very classic. Laura Bennett was the guest judge and she totally "got" me so I think she helped me get to the next round. Truthfully I was a sweaty, panicky mess the whole time. I had auditioned the previous season and was told "maybe" so I was nervous as hell.
HdJ: Where were you when you found out you were selected? How did you celebrate?
JM: I got the call when I was walking down the street in Manhattan. It's a very surreal experience because you want to scream and tell the world but because of the air tight confidentiality agreement you cant tell anyone. Basically I just said "shut up!" to the person from Bravo and then I hung up and jumped up and down for about 30 seconds like a freak.
What do you know... we post another great shot of Ryan Diesel by Sonny Tong and he appears again in our e-mail! Ryan just sent over a behind-the-scenes still from his recent shoot with the amazing David LaChapelle.
Thanks for the photo, Ryan -- what an exciting project! I can wait to see the end result!
