Oh La La Boys Steph & Alek declare Beige is the Rage in March 2008 Issue of Instinct Magazine

Oh La La Boys Steph & Alek (Stephane Marquet and Aleksander Tomovic) have hit the pages of Instinct Magazine, with a photo spread titled La Vie En Beige.

Earlier this month Steph & Alek also announced their move from OhLaLaParis to OhLaLaMag, a fitting change in moniker for the French transplants who now live in the bustle of Los Angeles, California. Even with a change of location and change of name, these boys are on top of their game.

Check out their other four pages from Instinct after the jump! Congratulations, boys.

Model Zach Burns

Fantastic model and friend of Hunk du Jour Zach Burns is currently featured on Connex24.7 in an interview with site author Edward Carl. We were looking forward to an excuse to feature Zach again -- and are thrilled the opportunity has presented itself.

D'Michael, CitizenDangerX

We've been keeping an eye on the Gay Bloggies competition (Caution: NSFW!) and have a few folks that we'd like to see win it all... however, when it came down to picking someone to endorse we've gone with D'Michael from CitizenDangerX.

Not only is he our hometown player (both CitizenDangerX and Hunk du Jour are Seattle-based), but he's also going to be donating half of the prize money to charity. We love supporting good causes, so I'm announcing that if D'Michael hits 1st or 2nd place, I will donate $150.00 to both American Lung Association and amFAR as well!

Check out the Gay Bloggies, and especially D'Michael. He's sent us a few more exclusive photos after the jump.

P.S. We're really loving Ernie from Little. Yellow. Different. and Fausto from Feast of Fools too. It's a tough choice.

UPDATE: D'Michael was on the Derek & Romaine Show tonight (Thursday 11/29, Sirius OutQ) and talked about being the Hunk du Jour. While nobody really is the Hunk du Jour for 24 hours anymore, we wanted to give you a few more hours on top. Good luck this week and thanks for the shout-out!

I caught a glance of Ben Sharkey on the homepage of YouTube yesterday and my "cute guy autopilot" kicked in and I found myself watching a bunch of his YouTube clips. Ben is a Michigan 3D artist who comes off as pretty shy when he's working without a script or soundtrack -- but absolutely sparkles once the tunes are rolling.

He has a few original songs up, but also tends to love covering songs from classic and popular crooners -- from Frank Sinatra to Michael Buble. Check out another tune and a cute clip of him showing off his moves after the jump.

I saw on your blog that this is the first year San Diego will be playing host to the national Dining Out For Life campaign. (Happening TONIGHT nationwide!) Are you a restaurant ambassador, or getting a big group to go dine out that night?

I am very excited about this, San Diegans are getting involved and I hope this is going to be a great event, I am not a restaurant embassador, but I have told all my friends about it and I have a group of 10+ people for dinner that night. It's for a great cause!

Last summer you raised cash for the San Diego AIDS Walk with an innovative incentive gift for donors... yourself! I hope PBS & NPR take a cue from you (though I'm not sure I'd be as brave in my fundraising for this year's AIDS Walk in Seattle.) How was the response to this? Are you planning on doing it again this year?

The response was good, I thought about it while taking a shower one day, I didn't know if I could raise funds while offering private pictures of myself, but some great people did helped. A lot of guys have asked me if I am going to do the "second part" of my "Home Alone Series" this year, but I haven't thought about it, right now I have two calendars on sale throught my "online store" and all the proceeds are going to the SD AIDS Walk this year.

From your photos it seems like you are off to regular adventures with your friends that include sunny pools or beaches (any excuse for showing off in the skimpy swimwear?) Tell us a little about your favorite adventure.

I enjoy the beach a lot, the sun , the sand and of course the cute boys showing off their sexy bodies, I can use any excuse to wear my "little" speedos, birthdays, pool parties, the beach, foam parties etc- I honestly don't like those big tanning lines, so with my speedos I get less lines.

I was browsing through your flickr photostream and came across some of you in (what looked to be) a Tahitian dance competition... did you do well? How often did you participate in those when you were younger?

While living in Hawaii, I tried to emerge in their culture; one day I heard some drums going on by my house I followed the sound and found a group of dancers, I was very excited and I was invited to stay and watch, later on I became a member of the group and we went to a Major Competition in Maui. I was nervous for my solo competition- I was the only latino there, I had a great time. We won a couple of awards as a group, I didn't do so well in my solo-

It looks like you have the occasional brushes with fame? Is running across celebrities something that gets you a little star-struck, or can you keep your cool and just treat 'em as "plain folks"?

I get excited when I see "famous" people, but I don't show it, most of the times I tell my friends: OMG that's X and Y from this and that show , but they usually don't know what I am talking about, when I get to meet them I always compliment them in their arts and that's it- I guess I treat them as regular folks.

Thanks for taking the time to chat with me, Alexsander! Check out the links below to read Alexsander's blog, or look at his flickr photostream.

Marcellas Reynolds

Marcellas Reynolds first popped onto the Hunk du Jour radar during his two runs on the CBS program Big Brother - where folks are locked in a house for the summer and kept on a strict diet of liquor, drama, and backstabbing (all the while being regularly interviewed by show producers.)

Reality TV personalities are often exaggerated/edited versions of themselves when appearing on the shows. By reading his blog & MySpace profile, it's easy to see how CBS featured some of the dramatic moments of Marcellas -- ignoring or downplaying other more positive aspects of his personality.

When not locked in a house on the backlot Marcellas is a television host and actor, as well as a style expert. He has a few projects in various stages of negotiation and/or production, we can't wait to see what is next!

Fausto Fernos and Marc Felion from Feast of Fools

Fausto Fernos & Marc Felion are the hosts of the People's Choice Award Winning Feast of Fools podcast! Fausto, Marc, and their band of friends produce this wildly popular podcast weekdays with shows that range from uproarious to thoughtful.

I've subscribe to the show via iTunes and always look forward to what Fausto & Marc will come up with next. Listen up for the signature drink recipes, and take a crappr on their frappr and you might find them in your neck of the woods for a meet & greet.

After the jump: More photos, listen to the show, and see how Fausto & Marc are taking over the internet! You need to subscribe today.

Check out Matty's blog and flickr photo stream to catch photos from his various outings.

Steph & Alek are the creators of Oh La La Paris, an absolutely fantastic blog that I simply can't get enough of... plus they're as cute as a button! On any given day you might see a David Beckahm expose, a report from a remote tropical photo shoot, or a relevant news item.

When I started reading they had more personal life interspersed with the site, but even in its current incarnation it is a must-read!

MandelMy friend Mandel is a television producer in Los Angeles. He and his friends are known for awesome themed parties & great game nights (one of which we were fortunate enough to join them for in 2001!) A reoccurring theme of their holiday parties has been their annual holiday performance or presentation.

Last year instead of performing live they filmed a short piece including a stop-animation sequence followed by an original music video named Keep Christmas Gay & Bright. These boys put their production skills up to the task and banded together for a very clever and amusing video.

Mandel's website and blog, mandelweb.com is a great read for reality television news and gossip, and the occasional photo with celebrity. He's wild about But Can They Sing?, most game shows, has appeared on Match Game '90, and was one of the minds behind Whammy! The All-New Press Your Luck.

Above all that, he's just an awesome guy. (...and I covet his new cell phone. Seriously.)

Mandel... we salute you!
