Hunk du Jour HQ is all a-twitter (and we aren't talking about our @HunkDuJour twitter account here) over the Mika concert coming up tomorrow night at The Moore theater in Seattle. Mika's had a spell of bad luck lately, though -- he has an injured foot at the moment. According to his twitter stream it has afforded him the opportunity to make up a few new right-foot-centric dance moves.
There's one more tour stop after Seattle for our Canadian neighbors to the north in Vancouver, BC. After that Mika heads to Australia and south east Asia for a few stops in late November. European fans will have to wait a little longer to see him perform again, when he returns for a UK and Europe set of tours in early 2010.
Fellow Seattlites, enjoy the show -- perhaps we'll see you there!
Bonus: Check out our pictures from when Mika was last in town at the Showbox SODO. He may or may not have taken his shirt off. (Hint: He did.)
Mika brings on his latest video, Blame it on the Girls with an exclusive launch over at PopEater. Check out the video, and all of their Mika coverage (including some new interviews.)
Raul Esparza is nominated this year for his performance alongside Jeremy Piven and Elizabeth Moss in Speed-the-Plow. This is his third nomination in as many years.
Raul performed Being Alive, his character Bobby's signature song from Company, at the 2007 Tony Awards as well as the musical's television broadcast on PBS's Great Performances (which has a permanent home on my TiVo.)
There's also a great article in the New York Times from November 2006 where Raul opens up about his sexuality, struggling marriage, and relationships with men and women.
