Imagine that you're a blogger -- you've woken up and taken a shower, and set out to do your 5:00AM rounds on the internet to see what happened overnight. This was the first thing you came across.
I've seen bits and pieces of this video from Tyler Shields trickle out on his YouTube channel... but wow what a difference when they are all tied together into this frantic explosion from his head.
I feel like either this is going to be an awesome day, or that America's favorite mouse is going to mug me in the parking garage.

The latest video from our friend Michael DiMartino is out, and this time he's taking on the Kelly Clarkson song Addicted. His videos are great, and you can see that a lot of work goes into creating them.

Techno/House producer Adrian Lux spices up his latest video for the track Can't Sleep with a little man love... we definitely have no complaints!
Chris M, Hunk du Jour: We're here with Michael DiMartino, from YouTube, who you've probably seen in that awesome Womanizer fan video where he signs the entire song... welcome, Michael!
Michael DiMartino: Thanks Chris!
UPDATED Video Address
Chris M, Hunk du Jour: You released another video last week too, correct?
Michael DiMartino: Yes, thats right. If You Seek Amy, by Britney Spears
Chris M, Hunk du Jour: Ahh, yes! So that's an interesting song in that if you hear someone SAYING "If You Seek Amy" it's quite a different effect than if you're just reading it on a page (or seeing it signed, I imagine.)
Michael DiMartino: Right. There is definitely the acronym for an obsenity that everyone has become aware of. When I first thought about doing the song I struggled with that.
As an interpreter I had to figure out how to put the MEANING of the song (the obscenity, the sexual undertone) without losing the gimmick of the song's phrase "If you Seek Amy." I decided to play with the idea of a girl named amy leaving me a note in bed, and chasing her throughout the video. And using a split screen to sign the two phrases "If You Seek Amy" and "F U * K Me"
I first fell in love with Hellogoodbye when I heard "Touchdown Turnaround". I had no idea what they looked like, but I recently saw the video for "Baby It's Fact" and who knew they were cute even as they strive for the nerd/geek look. Be sure to check out their MySpace Music Page.
The video is pretty awesome as well.
With Father's Day yesterday (Hi Dad!) and an all-around hellish work week last week, your editor is a little pooped today. We're going to ease into the week with a light posting day, and what better way than with this Diet Coke Light commerical?
I'm suddenly thirsty...

Ahmed Hassan is the latest to join the ranks. This sought-after landscaper from the San Francisco Bay area is the host of Yard Crashers, where he gets to approach normal folks shopping at home improvement stores. He then hops in their car and heads home with them to help tackle their project!

We all saw the sizzling photos of Alan Ritchson's N2N Bodywear campaign, now we're able to get a peek at how the photo shoot went in these behind-the-scenes videos! (Turns out Alan doesn't have a changing room... just a guy holding up a coat.)
Since seeing stills of Alan isn't enough, we're sharing these two videos so that you can see Alan flexing, running up and down the pool, and sticking his tush out from behind his trench-coat-dressing-room. Plus, a bonus video of a poolside N2N fashion show!

Here's a sneak peek at one of this weekend's Superbowl commercials, featuring Justin Timberlake for Pepsi.
The Ford models are on location in Brazil, and talk about why they think the sungas (bikini) style swimwear is so much better for the boys. (And if you've got model looks, I'd have to agree... I'll personally stick to board shorts to spare everyone the tragedy!)

I caught a glance of Ben Sharkey on the homepage of YouTube yesterday and my "cute guy autopilot" kicked in and I found myself watching a bunch of his YouTube clips. Ben is a Michigan 3D artist who comes off as pretty shy when he's working without a script or soundtrack -- but absolutely sparkles once the tunes are rolling.
He has a few original songs up, but also tends to love covering songs from classic and popular crooners -- from Frank Sinatra to Michael Buble. Check out another tune and a cute clip of him showing off his moves after the jump.
