I'm more than excited to announce the winner of our 2010 Hunk du Jour Model Search, Jesse Blum!
The judges met earlier this month to carefully go over all of the contestant's entries. We looked at contestant's submitted photos and submitted material. From our large field we narrowed the list down to a dozen or so semi-finalists, then finally down to three finalists. We peppered these finalists with a few more question, as well as a request for "taken today" photos.
Jesse impressed our panel of judges with a great portfolio of photographs, great attitude, and willingness to prove that he was ready to become the next featured model in the Support Nature Project campaign.
Jesse with be flying to Dallas in just a few weeks for photo shoots with Jay Fuertez and On Display Men's Alan Rust. Lead Hunkologist Christopher will tag along and provide a peek behind the scenes at the campaign and an exclusive chat with Jesse.
Fan Favorite Winner
During the search, Hunk du Jour readers were also encouraged to vote for their favorites -- and vote they did! While contestant JaBari Ajee racked up the most votes from distinct e-mail addresses, winner Jesse Blum got the most votes from distinct computers (measured by unique IP addresses) - with New Yorker Arik Azulay a close second.
We're quite fond of many of our contestants, so watch for some of our favorites later this year on Hunk du Jour!
Issue #93 of DNA Magazine is (hopefully) somewhere over the Pacific Ocean right now, en route to our happy hands in Seattle -- but thankfully e-mail is a lot quicker! Our friends over at DNA sent these advance photos from the issue, including two behind-the-scenes shots you won't find in the magazine!
