Something caught my eye the other day. Ron Livingston, you might remember him in Office Space or as Carrie's boyfriend for 2 seasons of Sex and the City, is currently filming a TV drama series about space travel called Defying Space. The show will be an international collaboration and is backed by several studios from various countries. It follows 4 men and 4 women on a 6 year journey through the solar system. Let's hope they don't keep Ron in a space suit for the whole show.

Luckily, there was a movie called Bodyshots back in 1999, where Ron appeared shirtless. Enjoy!

I stumbled across Hugh Dancy recently after his appearance in Confessions of a Shopaholic. Hugh has been doing movies since 2000, most notably Black Hawk Down, Ella Enchanted, and Confessions of a Shopaholic. To add to his resume, he is also a model for Burberry, modeling in campaigns with Kate Moss. And if you are lucky, you live in the UK, where you get to see Hugh on BBC. Or you could just call your local cable company and ask for BBC. Either way, we hope to see Hugh on the big screen soon again.

Interesting Fact: Hugh has been dating Claire Danes for over a year and they recently announced their engagement.

I grew up listening to Harry Connick Jr. in my household. However, I have learned that many people only know him as an actor. Faithful to his roots, his sound is best described as a mix of jazz, funk, and blues. Sometimes listening to Harry makes you feel like you should be living 60-70 years ago, but he is true to his style and his sound is refreshing. Harry has been recording music since 1989 and movies since 1990. His most recent theatrical achievements are New In Town, P.S. I Love You, and Bug.

Along with his voice, his looks, and his acting, Harry was instrumental in raising money after Hurricane Katrina.

Chris M, Hunk du Jour: Ahh, yes! So that's an interesting song in that if you hear someone SAYING "If You Seek Amy" it's quite a different effect than if you're just reading it on a page (or seeing it signed, I imagine.)

Michael DiMartino: Right. There is definitely the acronym for an obsenity that everyone has become aware of. When I first thought about doing the song I struggled with that.

As an interpreter I had to figure out how to put the MEANING of the song (the obscenity, the sexual undertone) without losing the gimmick of the song's phrase "If you Seek Amy." I decided to play with the idea of a girl named amy leaving me a note in bed, and chasing her throughout the video. And using a split screen to sign the two phrases "If You Seek Amy" and "F U * K Me"

Good Morning, Hunk-lovers!

A programming note -- Hunkologist Troy D is taking the helm here for the next week and a half or so, while I head off to Europe with co-Hunkologist Doug B!

In addition to his Friday TPiRness posts, Troy has promised to check in on the site and make sure it hasn't crashed -- and perhaps sprinkle a few extra posts here and there during his watch.

Also returning in the meantime is Asst. Hunkologist David E, who has some great guys scheduled to appear over the next week and a half... so don't worry about not having anything to see around here!

It's truly a treat to bring this blog to you -- and your entire team of Hunkologists here delight in it. If you live in London-Amsterdam-or-Oslo and see a couple of confused-looking Seattle boys sneaking glances at the local cuties... come up and say Hi -- it might be us!
