Chace Crawford became well known the instant Gossip Girl hit the airways on the CW. His mid-west roots, dashing looks and All-American attitude have been the focal point of his success. He attended Pepperdine University where he focused on journalism. A push from his mother to try acting didn't come until 2005. Within the next year, he was cast in The Covenant and after that, Gossip Girl.

We look forward to seeing more of Chace and where his screen credits will take him.

Patrick Dempsey, AKA McDreamy from Grey's Anatomy has been making us swoon since 2005. Patrick has been doing movies since 1985, but hasn't had huge success until his role on Grey's Anatomy. Since then, he has been flexing his acting muscles, but doing a romantic comedy (Made of Honor) and a musical/love story (Enchanted).

Interesting fact: Patrick makes $225,000 an episode for Grey's Anatomy.

Joshua Jackson first gained some notoriety when he played Charlie in The Mighty Ducks. He then moved on to casted as Pacey on Dawson's Creek. He did small movie roles,voice roles, and even tried Broadway before continuing with TV. Joshua is currently playing Peter on the show Fringe.

Interesting Fact: His mother wanted to discourage him from acting, so she took him to his first audition, hoping he would fail. He ended up getting the job. For Keebler's potato chips. YUM!

Around the nation, talk today will be focused on two things... the final three minutes of the Superbowl, and the commercials sprinkled throughout the game. In the spirit of national camaraderie, we'd like to share a commercial that you didn't see last night.

Homotography shares this film by photographer Mariano Vivanco for Dolce & Gabbana. Technical Director Regan Hall shared it on his YouTube channel and we are very glad that he did.

Model David Gandy appears in both the movie and the corresponding Dolce & Gabbana 2008 underwear campaign.

While the headline event this past Sunday was (of course) the Superbowl, Seattle fans of the other football tuned in to the post-bowl Sounders FC SuperSearch to watch ten talented soccer players compete for the final roster position in the Seattle Sounders FC.

The Sounders FC is the 15th Major League Soccer team, and has already sold more season tickets than any other MLS team in the league's history. (They even have a marching band... the only MLS team that does.)

But back to the SuperSearch!

The big winner at the end of the evening was Vinicius 'Vini' Oliveira, who had a strong fan presence at the televised finals. He joins Swedish dreamboat (and Calvin Klein model) Freddie Ljungberg on the Sounders FC roster.

As my friends and I watched the SuperSearch finals, we were reminded how incredibly hot the players are... with Vini being no exception to that rule. (Okay, okay... and that football is an incredibly fast-paced and fun game.) We're looking into season tickets now, so maybe we'll see you alongside the pitch!

Hollywood's hottest gathered again last night for the 81st Annual Academy Awards. Host Hugh Jackman walked us through the evening, where we were happy to see the scrappy Slumdog Millionaire having quite the night!

Also welcome was the recognition of Sean Penn and Dustin Lance Black, who were recognized for their stellar work in the Gus Van Sant film Milk.
