Taylor Kitsch (Friday Night Lights, The Covenant) will be playing the role of Gambit in the upcoming X-Men movie spin off, Wolverine.
MTV caught up with Wolverine star Hugh Jackman and asked him about Taylor's participation in the film:
"I can say it. He's sexy, right? He's a little bit like a junior Wolverine in a way. He's a little bit of a wise guy. He's an outsider. He's got some issues himself. He's mischievous. He's cheeky. He's a bit of a badass. We have a really great fight sequence. Physically that guy is an animal. He was chucking himself around on the concrete. He has that passion that I remember having when I first did Wolverine. There was no way a stunt double was doing anything for him."

What are you looking forward the most about New York?
People in New York are so different from most people in Texas. New York is a much more open-minded and liberal area, so you can get away with more and people aren't shocked as easily. You can really be yourself in New York.
What about Cyndi Lauper makes her a hero?
First of all, Cyndi is incredibly talented. She brings so much energy to the stage, even at 55 years old (or young, I guess I should say). I have watched so many videos of her performing live--back from when she began over 25 years ago up to today, and she has put on amazing shows without really using any spectacle. I think she is a great role model. Cyndi is a beautiful person. She is a huge supporter of gay rights. She is weird and quirky, which I love.
If you could ask Cyndi one question what would you ask her?
What inspired you to write your most recent album, "Bring Ya To The Brink"?
What will you miss more BBQ or Tex-Mex food?
BBQ, definitely.
You gave up fast food? What is your guilty food fetish?
The Molten Chocolate Cake from Chilis may be the most delicious thing I have tasted in my life.
How is gay nightlife in Dallas?
I don't go out that much, but when I have gone out, it has been a lot of fun. It's not hard to find the gay community. We have our own "gayberhood", where are several clubs (but only one that I can get into), restaurants and shops. Sunday night is the biggest night of the week in the gayberhood. From out-of-towners, I have been told that we have a surprisingly good gay nightlife.
You list singing and acting as hobbies. Any professional experience?
In June, I was in my first paid show, Bye Bye Birdie. Hopefully there will be more experiences in the future!
If you DID start a band what would you call it?
Evolution. My taste in music is constantly changing and that would reflect the kind of music I would make too.
Between M. Cho, C. Lauper & K. Griffin which one do you think can handle their liquor more? Which one would win in a fight?
I would guess that Margaret could outdrink the other two. Cyndi may be tiny, but I guarantee you she could kick even MY ass and Kathy could spank the other two in a verbal fight. They're all winners. Congrats ladies.

When I interviewed Bryan Thomas, I was pleased to discover that he backed up the stunning good looks with intelligence and a fantastic outlook on life and the modeling business. A casting agent at DNA Magazine must have also thought so, 'cos Bryan has landed on the cover of DNA Magazine #104 (September 2008.)
