What's up guys! I am very excited to be the a Guest Hunkologist to fill in during Chris' absence. As an enthusiast of all things adorkable, I always think the world could definitely use more of these rare type of hotties and my obvious choice would definitely be none other than John Krasinski. From "that guy" in The Office, John has made his mark in Hollywood in a very short time, with major roles along with existing A-listers (like resident hottie George Clooney.) He looks more like that cute funny guy next door you always had a crush on than a super celebrity, which is a huge part of his (dorky) charms.

Hello, Hunk Lovers!

We're back from holiday, all rested up and ready to go. My self-imposed exile from the blog was (as usual) hard to maintain... but for all of our sanity it is good to take a week off now and then.

Please join me in thanking our awesome Guest Hunkologists from last week: Ethan from Ethan Says, the great fellow from SquareHippies, Fausto Fernos from Feast of Fools, as well as our resident Assistant Hunkologist Troy!

I think you'll agree that they did a great job weighing in with their expertise in our favorite field. Perhaps we'll introduce more regular updates from these and others -- it's great to have new points of view!

Summertime on CBS means that it's time for Big Brother to return. Among this year's houseguests is Jessie Godderz, a bodybuilder and fitness model.

Jessie also appeared on one of those MTV dating shows (which are completely uncomfortable to watch.) I haven't fired up the TiVo to see how he's doing in the house yet -- I can only hope that it's better than on MTV!

When was the last time you went dancing?
Ugh, too long. Actually,I went to this rave thing a couple weeks ago, but that doesnt count. I don't really go dancing as much as I would like beacause there's nowhere really to go around here. I spend a lot of time dancing by myself haha. But sometimes I go to clubs in the city and that's always amazing. I plan to move to San Francisco soon and hopefully I'll be able to get into the gay seen a little more, it's where I belong.

Haha, dancing. It would be really hard to give up but I mean.. who could give up masturbating??

Favorite Ben & Jerry's Ice cream?
Ooo toughy.. New York Super Fudge Chunk. But there are so many others that I love. I'm pretty big on desserts. I'm super skinny but I can put it down with the best of them ;)

Last song you listened to on your iPod?
Independence Day by Elliott Smith, he is amazing. I recommend that everyone listen to him because his voice is so beautiful and soothing and his lyrics actually mean something. Whenever I'm down, there's always the perfect Elliott Smith song to make me feel better.

Last movie you saw?
The Happening, it was soo bad. It had a pretty good premise but it just got really stupid really fast. Mark Walberg was hot though.

What was the most exciting thing you did this weekend?
I found a place to live!! My parents have been kind of kicking me out of the house ever since I got back from college this summer, and all of the places I looked at were not going to work or I'd have to live with weirdos. But I found this really cute little place that I'm going to share with this girl. She's really fun and I'm going to have a huge room and yeah, I'm really excited about it.

Last time you kissed a boy?
Like a month ago. We met at a gay club in LA and kind of hit it off. We were dancing together like all night and making out. It was a lot of fun, and exciting considering he was only like the third boy ive kissed, I know it's sad.. He was from Atlanta too and he had this cute little Southern accent and Southern hospitality. You just don't find much of that around here haha

By ass I mean let the fuck loose. I trampled my way onto the stage at MIA's latest concert in Montreal. Think I hurt some poor blonds to get up there. I did the same at her Vancouver gig. Danced my lil' ass OFF the floor.

How could you not like the movie Big Fish?
I don't hate it. I did cry near the end, and rather enjoyed it. But compared to Tim Burton's best, it just doesn't stand the test of time. I mean Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands and yes Mars Attacks!...those are CLASSICS!

What would the girls of Sex & The City think of Amy Sedaris?
I think they'd adore her..well not Charlotte.

What exactly do you want out of life?

God I hope so. I've been watching all these documentaries on her and her upbringing, and this whole downward spiral is so recent. I NEED more records from her, before she leaves us.

What was the last thing you watched on TV?
Rented a movie, L'Enfant. Palme D'or winner a couple years back. Heartbreaking, but uplifting. See it.

Best brand of cereal?
I'm a health nut. So currently I'm into any high fibre, low sugar cereal. I like to mix it up. Corn Puffs were my cocaine as a kid.

After joining the Broadway cast of Spring Awakening a few months ago, Canadian singer Kyle Riabko has been tapped to lead the national tour cast in the lead role of Malchior Gabor.

His track Do You Right has actually been in my music rotation for a while now, after iTunes offered it as a free track of the week once upon a time. I'm happy to see that he's still at it, and that new audiences are being treated to his tunes.

I spoke with Jason Dottley for nearly two hours a few months ago about life on his new television series Sordid Lives, the incredible tight-knit cast, taking it all off onscreen, and his husband Del Shores. While I couldn't fit everything we spoke about in, he was a delight and we are super-excited to see the premiere of Sordid Lives tonight on Logo TV.

Chris, Hunk du Jour: Hi Jason! So you're starring in the television version of Sordid Lives... how did filming go?

Jason Dottley: Oh, it was great! We worked at a pace of maniacs, filming 12 half-hour episodes in 35 days... about 35 fewer than you actually need. It could not have been more fun, I mean -- you've seen who I get to work with, so no complaints from this end.

Hunk du Jour: We love the film -- where does the TV show pick up from in relation to it?

Jason Dottley: The series starts before the film, it's a prequel. It is the day Tammy Wynette dies and for those Sordid Lives fans, we all understand that it would be a pretty big day in Brother Boy's life. My character, Ty, is in LA -- therapist hopping, as Ty likes to do.

Jason Dottley: There are great therapist cameos, Margaret Cho, Carson Kressley, Candis Cayne, and then my husband Del Shores has a brief cameo as well.
