Michael Vartan stars in Rogue as a writer venturing out into remote Australian wetlands with a tourist group, on a nature tour that turns deadly due to a huge. freaking. crocodile.

In other news, we'll be at Disneyland this weekend -- where there will probably be one of the giant crocodiles from Fantasia walking around at some point. If I don't return on Monday then I'm probably in Disney jail somewhere...

Doug and I are back in town after a weekend trip (and our 7-year anniversary!) where we took a few hours on Saturday afternoon to go see Iron Man, which got some seriously insane box office cash over the weekend.

Starring in Iron Man, of course, is Robert Downey Jr. And it looks like he's been training a bit for the role! The movie was great, and if you stay all the way through the credits you'll get a big teaser for another major Marvel movie that will have the rumor-mills buzzing.

Photographer Dav.d Daniels shared some of his great shots from the Queer Utah Aquatic Club (QUAC) Ski-N-Swim 2008, which took place in February. Swimmers get in such incredible shape... and then putting 'em in a speedo? Well, you can't help but love the uniform.

Ben Cohen looks pretty good for being half of the Ben & Jerry's team, eh? Ok, you got us... this isn't that Ben Cohen, but the famous rugby player of the same name.

This Ben Cohen is seriously hot, though -- and very appreciative of his diverse group of fans. An event in London on May 28th is in the works called BENediction, which will be an exclusive party for his gay fans.

If I had a gym teacher this sexy, I'd probably be flunking out too. Eddie Cibrian joined the cast of Ugly Betty as the gym teacher of Betty's not-quite-straight nephew, Justin.

Eddie had been tapped for the US version of Footballer's Wives -- which has yet to be picked up by a network. Keep those fingers crossed, though, as it the series is still reportedly in play.

Asked about why he's the right person for the title, Nathan said,

"Other than that I really think It's an amazing opportunity for all the models. I currently am a manager at the Soho Diesel store in NY and I really love it. But on the side I love to get the modeling side work, and especially the runway jobs! I really think people should vote for me because I love fashion and really think I can be an inspiration and a role model in the industry. I graduated from University Of Nevada Reno, packed two backpacks and purchased my one way ticket to the fashion capitol of the US... NY... I love to model, it's something I really enjoy doing and would love to have the opportunity to be on VMAN."

connex24.7 connects with Erik Bunten. While Erik is a model, in his personal life he admits to being less than a slave to fashion, admitting "most days I'm ragged out going commando in a pair of jeans, t-shirt, and flops." Erik's one of those guys that can make a burlap sack work, though.

That's right, it's my birthday again! I turn 29 this year, and am glad that I've made it this far. (I also learned this year that it is also the birthday of Andy Towle from Towleroad, so Happy Birthday Andy too!)

Undergear is getting into the entertainment business with some new offerings on their web site. One of their new efforts is A Model Life, where they aim to give you more information about some of their models.

This month's feature includes Max Wettstein, who has got some killer abs. (Seriously, someone could get hurt in there!)

What we don't learn from Undergear is that Max is a Captain for JetBlue Airways, and has been flying with them for five years. Prior to this he flew for the Navy for ten years based on the USS Abraham Lincoln and Carl Vinson. He has a BA in Mathematics, and was a pole vaulter and wrestler in college. He's been married for over 12 years to his college sweetheart, Donna, and they have a daughter named Bryce.

He writes for the interal JetBlue website about fitness, and has a book on fat loss in the works as well. (Plus he looks fantastic in these Unico trunks, yeah? There's a ton more photos of him at Max's web site and on Undergear.)

Gaspard Ulliel and I would like to welcome you back... Here in the states we have just finished a three-day weekend in honor of Memorial Day, and I'm now looking forward to an abbreviated work week.

Gaspard (who is also fluent in English) was featured in the movie Hannibal Rising last year. His charm did not seem to boost the lukewarm response of critics and crowds to the film.

I got this item from a reader (who I think is also an AOL staffer, but don't quote me on that) -- but I think I have a slightly different spin than Andie was hoping... how hot is Clay Aiken's band?

I'm not really a Clay fan -- though I totally loved his rendition of "Bridge Over Troubled Water" on Idol (and catch myself humming that "Invincible" song every so often.) He's... uh... backed by a pretty fine set of musicians in this AOL Sessions video for "Ashes" though.

I missed it in theaters, and don't have here! TV so I couldn't catch the cable premiere -- luckily Shelter was just released on DVD and I finally had the opportunity to see the film. Calling it "the gay surfer movie" seems to sell it short, but the description is the one I've seen most thrown around.

It was a great movie with a talented (and sexy) cast -- definitely worth taking a look at!
