John Waters is doing it again... Cry-Baby is hitting the Broadway stage! After the smash hit Hairspray, all eyes are on Cry-Baby to see if it lives up to it's big sister's success.

Baltimore, 1954. Wade "Cry-Baby" Walker is the coolest boy in town. He's a bad boy with a good cause--truth, justice, and the pursuit of rock 'n roll--and when he falls for a good girl who wants to be bad, her charm school world of bobby sox and barbershop quartets will never be the same.

To celebrate the show's opening, we're going to be giving away tickets to see one of the performances in May 2008. Of course, we're going to do it in our own special way... we'll be playing our version of Name That Tune with some great showtunes.

If you don't know Sondheim from Schwartz, don't worry -- even if you get every answer wrong you'll be eligible for our "second chance" drawing.

One thing I do know in the Vmagazine/Ford competition is that I am far from conventional. I'm sure I entered the competition for the same reasons as the other guys. somewhat on a whim and because others have told us we should "be models." As I come to the end of my college career at Harvard studying Art History and Italian Studies, I find myself with a curiosity for fashion and a desire to enter the industry. Fashion has hit mainstream culture, yet I still have a desire for it to remain sophisticated and artful. I'm not the ridiculously chiseled sporty man but am a man of a more demure and pensive presence. I believe that I still embody masculinity but do so in a different way, in an elegant manner. Ultimately, whoever the man, I would love to see male fashion pushed to more daring and experimental heights. In sum, I bring a reasoned intelligence and European look to the table. Whether you place me at the top of this competition or not, you can be sure that in due time you'll be hearing from me. But, of course, I could use your support.

Today in the HDJ Mailbox we got a very nice surprise! Brazilian supermodel Edilson Nascimento (Vision Model Management) modeling some of the hottest underwear fashions for International Jock.

Edilson flew up to California for the afternoon shoot, modeling from the Spring collections of brands like Diesel and Calvin Klein. The folks at International Jock promise much more on their website, so be sure to check them out!

UPDATE: I'm a dork and spelled the company name wrong. However, I did log on for their first sale this morning and nabbed an awesome cotton/silk blend button-up shirt. Things get COMPETITIVE on there... I only got the shirt after someone's shopping cart expired.

I call my interest in Mario Lopez a healthy facination. My partner Doug might say that it's more like a disturbing preoccupation. (He just doesn't understand the bond between Mario and me.)

While he's remained in the nation's view since he bared all in Nip/Tuck and shook what he showed in Dancing with the Stars, the latest news out of the Lopez camp is his current run in A Chorus Line on Broadway. He joins the show in the role of Zach, a director looking to cast some of the hopeful dancers while prodding them into introspection about the life of chorus dancers.

Die-hard A Chorus Line fans may be unsure of the changes to the show allowing Mario to have a bit more time onstage (Zach spends the majority of the show as a disembodied voice, watching the auditioners from his desk at the back of the theater), but we've seen in his Dancing with the Stars appearance that he'll be able to keep up with the rest of the performers in the cast.

Corrospondents Josh & Josh had the opportunity to interview Mario for episode two of Towleroad TV, which has just been posted at Towleroad. Mario talks about his gay fanbase, joining the show, his fitness book, and the fact that they didn't have to photoshop the cover!

That fact that there is a Gay-Straight Alliance at all in my former high school is something that gives me hope for the future. Such an organization seemed far from possible when I was attending, and drawing attention to the bullying surrounding queer youth only helps create an environment of tolerance for everyone. Now, even other religious organizations are getting into the dialog -- saying, "Hutcherson does not speak for us."

I appreciate your readership (and patience when I stray from our site's topic.)

While watching one of the most awkward and uncomfortable episodes of American Idol ever, we were reminded that our favorite show is about to premiere again for the summer... So You Think You Can Dance! Everyone at Hunk du Jour HQ is a huge fan of the show -- and we even went to their live touring show after the series ran.

Wade Robson is one of our favorite choreographers on the show, and he always puts together really amazing pieces. He's also well-known for choreographing many pop acts such as N*Sync.

Last season featured an insanely talented (and incredibly hot) set of guys in the finals -- what will this year's season bring? We can't wait to find out.

In other news, did we hear Neil Haskell has joined the cast of Altar Boyz in New York? I can't think of a more sweet addition to an already sweet production.

There are "issues" with reality TV dating programs... the relationships they foster rarely work out, they rely on semi-scripted dates, and do everything for the sake of "Good TV." So, when The CW came out with Farmer Wants a Wife (starring Matt Neustadt and premiering tonight) it was easy to say "Meh."
