Hunk du Jour

Marcio, photographed by Dylan Rosser

Fantastic photographer Dylan Rosser sent us a note recently about his latest photo shoot appearing on his website. Folks seem to have very strong and varied opinions on some of the latest photography projects where the models are dirty.

What do you think of the latest trend in dirty models? Do you just want them to take a shower, or is the grit and grime a welcome change?

I'm not too fond of this dirtying up of the guys. I suppose one reason for it's popularity is a sort of reaction/backlash to all the hairless/smooth bodies photographers seem to love. Me, I'd rather see no dirt but some hair on guys, trimmed if need be. (Nobody wants to see a guy with enough hair looking like he's wearing a black coat, eh?)

I'm with Vince. These aren't hunks and they certainly don't look like they've ever done any hard
dirty work, unless you call
cleaning up after a freak
mascara accident,work.
Bring some real men, with body hair and real muscle and real dirt. like those incredible football players you've done.
not some escapee from the OC or some gossip girl-ie
boy

Im split on this one, the first guy I think is attractive with a nice body and I like how the picture came off so he makes the cut for me. Model #2 that picture is just too dirty and not attractive at all.

I have always been attracted to the working guy; shirtless, a bit of grime, and muscular. Who is the photog responsible for shot of that beautiful boy holding the tires. There's a whole series of these "dirty" laborers that turn me on.

Never heard of getting down and dirty? They could rub their dirt off on my naked body anytime!
