Mischa Pfister is a very talented individual and a great guy. We got the chance to meet up with him the last time he was in Seattle visiting his local theater friends. Not only an actor, voice-over artist , and photographer -- He also is one hell of a singer. (We heard him do an awesome version of "Darling Nikki" at a local Karaoke joint.)

He speaks fluent German and is pre-show Narrator on Disneyland's Matternhorn as well as various voice-over credits in movies such as Mission Impossible III, Million Dollar Baby, and The Bourne Supremacy. Above all, he's just a great guy and a friend.

AIDS prevention, treatment, and awareness is a paramount concern for our generation. Many companies have joined together for the ( PRODUCT ) ^RED campaign. ( RED ) gets a portion of sales directly, buys pills, and distributes them to needy populations.

Globally, between 33.4 and 46 million people currently live with HIV. In 2005, between 3.4 and 6.2 million people were newly infected and between 2.4 and 3.3 million people with AIDS died, an increase from 2003 and the highest number since 1981.

AIDS is a problem in the United States, but it is a drastic problem on the African continent. More than 64% of all people living with HIV are in sub-Saharan Africa, as are more than three quarters (76%) of all women living with HIV. On this World AIDS day I encourage you to look beyond the statistics and tales of loss.

Look inside -- there are simple things that YOU can do. You have the power to affect lives and better humanity. Donate a few dollars to charity. Buy a ( RED ) product. Talk to your kids or parents about AIDS.

Last night on the way to dinner in New York City (the trip has been FABULOUS, by the way...) we saw Ryan Reynolds filming on the street next to our restaurant, Nobu. Unfortunately, as this is December in New York, he was much more clothed than in this picture.

This month Outsports has a great interview with professional wrestler Kevin Nash on his views. With gay pro wrestlers in the ring and the locker room, he says it really doesn't bother him.

I accidently ran across Eric's MySpace profile and now I have spent the last two days checking out his music, pictures and his website. Besides being a great singer, he also writes a bi-monthly column called "Trial and Eric" featured in "Outlook Weekly" based in Columbus, Ohio. Jared Koronkiewicz has a GREAT body. I think he looks much hotter when he is all scruffy and sweaty. It's funny how the different pictures cause me to have different reactions. For example in the couple of pictures where he is fully dressed he sort of looks like a nice wholesome soap opera actor, but then in other pictures he looks like the kind of guy that you would want to pick up on the side of the road and finally make that hitchhiker fantasy come true.

Just remember that picking up a hitchhiker is illegal in most states, but if you saw this guy wet on the side of the road you might just want to pull over.

Marcellas Reynolds first popped onto the Hunk du Jour radar during his two runs on the CBS program Big Brother - where folks are locked in a house for the summer and kept on a strict diet of liquor, drama, and backstabbing (all the while being regularly interviewed by show producers.)

Reality TV personalities are often exaggerated/edited versions of themselves when appearing on the shows. By reading his blog & MySpace profile, it's easy to see how CBS featured some of the dramatic moments of Marcellas -- ignoring or downplaying other more positive aspects of his personality.

When not locked in a house on the backlot Marcellas is a television host and actor, as well as a style expert. He has a few projects in various stages of negotiation and/or production, we can't wait to see what is next!

While in New York City last week, we made a point of seeing Avenue Q where the delicious Howie Michael Smith now plays the role of Rod/Princeton. It was a fantastic show, and I think both Doug & I walked away with little Howie crushes.

On December 16th the annual Santa Speedo Run was held in Boston, MA. Photographer Patrick Lentz was on the scene for the run and following party! Here are some of my favorite photos -- check out the rest in Patrick's photoset.

In the spirit of the holidays, participants were encouraged to raise at least $200 each, and proceeds went to The Ellie Fund and Eliot Community Human Services.

I saw this picture while searching profiles on MySpace and I have to say that it is THE most adorable picture that I think I have ever seen. The cute dog...the cute boy...awwww. I seriously could make this my wallpaper!

Today's MySpace cutie Chad has lived in Pittsburgh his entire life, but loves to travel. He took a shot at answering 5 of our RHQ's (Random Hunk Questions) and here were his responses:

Boxers or Briefs : Boxer briefs. I have a thing for expensive designer underwear. My mom always says if someone was going to rob me they should go straight for my underwear drawer. [Ed: We think we would like to go straight to his underwear drawer]

What do you first notice about a guy that makes him attractive? : Eyes. I prefer dark hair and green or brown eyes.

What celebrity would you sleep with even if you were happily in a relationship? : I'm not really into the whole celebrity thing to be honest. I can't think of anyone off the top of my head. Sorry!

What is the last restaurant that you went to and what did you eat? : I believe it was a chinese restaurant and I had the "Amazing Chicken" with no spice!!

What's with the cherry? (See picture after the jump) : I'm a graphic designer and the photo was from "high noon" drinks with one of my good friends for my birthday. I thought it would be fun to do a little black and white plus 1 color deal. [Ed: We love this picture]

As you may remember, earlier this month we spent over a week in fabulous New York City. After our first non-stop day of sightseeing we discovered a gay bar right down the street from our hotel, XES. We promply made this "home base" and ended up spending several nights at this bar.

XES quickly became one of the highlights of our trip. It was a great bar -- very down to earth -- with a staff not only HOT, but made up of some of the nicest guys that we have ever talked with (even while in a drunken state of mind.) [Editor: Maybe they weren't so much nice as they were very patient! Hah!]

Each morning I would check the digital camera to see if they were as cute in their pictures after the drinks had worn off, and of course... they were!

If you visit or live in NYC make it a point to frequent XES. They have karaoke on Sundays & Wednesdays, and it was a blast whether the bar was packed or nearly-empty. Thanks XES for helping make our NY trip so memorable!

I know that when it's dark and gloomy out in the winter, I have SUCH a hard time convincing myself to go to the gym -- especially when I've just gotten home from work and it's already dark out! How can I combat the Winter Blues and stay motivated when I just want to hibernate??

Here in Southern California we don't get all that snow but when it gets around 40 degrees I'm freezing my butt off, I could only imagine how hard it would be for most people who live in snowy places.

Few solutions to this problem:

1. Make sure your health club is on your way home from work -- if you stop at home you are not going to want to leave.

2. Make sure your motivational factors are greater then the obstacles you must overcome and constantly remind yourself of those motivational factors. For myself, when I don't feel like training, I just remind myself of my next video or modeling shoot and how I have to be in great shape or people won't take me serious. You may not make workout videos but you do go to the beach, lake, or pool come summer time. Even though the summer may be 5 months away what you do now will determine how you look then. Do you want to be seen with a flabby belly and weak chest?

You can also think of some of the problems or weak points in your life then visualize how being fit will solve them. Maybe you feel lonely during the holidays. Don't you think that have a great body will attract a significant other into you life more easily? Maybe you feel stressed and overwhelmed? Do you realize that exercise reduces stress and is a natural anti-depressant? Theirs a hundred more reasons but that should get you started.

3. Another solution is to not go to the gym during these cold months. Over the last few years home workouts have become more and more popular. That's why in my new DVD training system I've included three very effective and fun home workouts. Just put the DVD in as soon as you get home and I will walk you though the workouts and do my best to keep you motivated.
