I used to work out at the same gym as this guy at USF. He isn't 6' tall more like 5' 8" and he always seemed to have a bi/gay vibe to him. I noticed him checking out the other hot dudes in the shower...not that there's anything wrong with that, ha, ha! Anyway, he's probably bi, who isn't these days.

Once upon a time I dated Mr. Baldwin. One of the greatest human beings I've ever met. Smart, eye candy, huge heart, good family, etc. Mom and Dad should be proud. Honestly there are not a lot of good girls in Lancaster-all of them have kids by the time they are 18. Unless your talking about the suburbs-then you don't mean lancaster. This is why I left-no good girls or good guys!!

Reality and game shows have just provided them an easier format to get noticed.

When it comes to getting what you want, people are willing to do pretty much anything. And hiding one's sexuality is relatively easy.

To Narcissistic: It doesn't take a genius to realize this guy values his self beyond what normal people could handle. Guys like this could care less about the woman that is on the show; rather it is a display of their underdeveloped egocentric personality. Apparently, he never got enough attention during the critical years. I served in the military for four years and worked around officers like this all the time. They like to flirt with me, until their wife would visit. They basically have a huge ego, some smarts, but hollow else where; therefore making them extremely boring! I am now a LPC and can peg psychological problems with guys like this. There certainly is a sadness, with people (not always just guys) that lead hollow lives, such as this guy.
As good looking as this guy is physically, it amazes me that women can still find him attractive. When it boils down to it, he has absolutely nothing to offer. I think the real motive maybe for him to raise some money and have some fun on the show. A lady or gentlemen is lost when they have to make a public spectacle in finding their soulmate. I think Andy's real motive is to get a kick out of this show and the money he makes goes to his fundraising and or humanitarian prospects. Psychologically, does not seem to make sense for a normal and has it made life to feel the need in finding true love on a TV reality show. Hocus pocus if you ask me! LOL

No way he's over 5'10". Being military and an athlete, he probably has a bit of trouble meeting many eligible females. I'm also an endurance athlete who trains a ton and have the same problem.

I do not watch shows such as American Idol. I do not have the time to watch very many shows, I'm extremely busy in my life. To answer your question about my "in depth analysis" would be that it could be a partial put on for viewers shock value, and partially that these peoples families must not love them very much if they allow them to go on this show and make a fool of themselves. To answer your other question about needing to see the person for "diagnosis" which by the way, is a term used mostly for psychiatrists, not psychologists, yes you are right, of course you need to see them in person, to be absolutely serious of the issue that lies within someone so egocentric as this. No, I dont have to see this man in person to be able to see red flags of disaster around the corner. However, it does depend on the womans point of view on where she wants to go with a man like this. I'm glad that they finally have someone like Andy on the show! He has a dynamic smile and has a very solid background. I know that I'll be watching the entire season. I didn't quite understand where Lindsey was coming from! I think that when she left the rose ceremony after not receiving a rose, she might have done everyone a favor. Hi All! I think Andy is a great guy. He must have some smarts...after all he is a Dr. and I know from experience that working in the medical field is not something to take lightly! You have to have focus and determination to make it through anything in the medical field. His heart for charity work is amazing and as a person who works with special needs children, poverty-ridden children etc. I find it commendable! Is he handsome? YES...especially his eyes! He is absolutely gorgeous! Will it work for him and ____? that he chooses on the show? Who knows, but I think whom ever has the chance to get to know him more and possibly marry him is a very lucky person!

My comments about the show (based on personal experience and my monogamous nature) is that when people fall in love it is not with many at one time, and you typically think about and want to be with that one person.
If he is able to kiss and portray deep feeling for the last three woman and possibly have physical relationships with those women (we don?t know what went on behind those doors) how does the final women believe that he can be dedicated to just her and won?t regret his choice later?

What a great refreshing Bachelor Show. Andy is truely an example of the title! He is my Robert Redford of todays time. If I were only 20 yrs younger !! You would have to ,"Watch out Andy!"

Hey you guys've got to remember, Andy didn't say "Hey, I think I'll go on national t.v. and charm some ladies, yadda, yadda." It took someone who wanted to share how great a guy (and obviously extremely handsome too) he is to the World. So what, he's on The Bachelor. The fact of the matter is, he finally consented to being on the show.

This guy probably has no time for the show but had to be talked into it (I hope they offered him a lot to do it because he sees himself all the time, he's just giving you guys the "pleasure"). So, snap the harsh remarks and stop player-hatin'. It's t.v., he's on it, good for us woman (and men) who enjoy what they see. All you critics can grab your blankees and your pacies, and "leave the room!" (TV is entertaining, and obviously, if you're watching, you are being entertained. If not: "Get of the Couch"

I am writing from Norway, the show is not over here yet, but I knew that he would pick Tessa, and I knew that the relationship would be over soon. Tessa is the most beautiful girl in the world! I think Andy is either gay, and are in the show to get a moviecontract, or he just wants to get more populare among beautiful girls. But with thoose theet???? No way! I live in Hawaii. I am gay. There is a gay bar called Fusion at Waikiki. I saw Andy many times in this bar. He is not that attractive, there is something wrong with his teeth. He is very arrogant too. He is a typical butch gay. So, I never talked to him. But, then I saw him on Honolulu Advirtiser apparently he was on a TV show called Bachelor looking for a woman. I was suprised because he comes to bar with a few guys and he is cuddly with everyone around him. I don't know if he has any partner. According to the newspaper, he is a Navy officer. Because of Navy's don't ask don't tell policy, I think he is hiding his sexuality. He always drinks beer. He likes to dance when he buzzes.
