Hello dearest readers! I'm back in town again and along with the announcement of our Hunk of the Month (determined by last month's votes for the hunk of the day) I'm very pleased to announce that Kat & Doug are joining me as regular contributors to Hunk du Jour! They've got fantastic ideas in the works, so make sure you leave 'em a comment and say hello!
The great thing about having some more hands around will be that there should be more great men to look at, and more great things to read! Also, by letting me post one or two less entries during the week I can work on some new features and keep the place running!

Jason Statham is a London-born actor who has had quite the past. As a teenager he was an Olympic-caliber diver, placing 12th in the 1992 World Championships. He's also worked as a black market salesman and male model before landing his first gig in Guy Ritchie's Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels
We think he's hot and wouldn't mind spending an adrenaline-filled day or two with him.

This cutie first came to our attentions as the "adorkable" Jonathan Fields on the short-lived show Life As We Know It. Chris Lowell can now be found playing another sweet goof as one of the new leads in season 3 of Veronica Mars. This guy is kind of an undercover-hottie. He seemingly has that dorky emo-boy exterior, but the guy has some GUNS on him. Hopefully he’ll be going shirtless more often on Veronica this season.
This friday's flickr find is known simply as Soldier, and was photographed by Andy -- a cutie himself, who also pens the blog Here in Van Nuys. The model just got back from Iraq and is now figuring out his next steps.

Fans of the US reality dancesport competition Dancing With The Stars, should be familiar with beautiful Maks. For the past two seasons he's been lighting the floor on fire with his incredible dancing, choreography, and gorgeous smile. A photograph does not do this guy justice. You know that annoying Shakira song "Hips Don't Lie"? Well it's the only thing I can think of when Maks is onscreen. As a rule, dancers in general are wonderful to look at because of their fluid body movements. But the way Maksim moves his hips is totally hypnotic and should be illegal. Or worshipped; I can't decide.

It's National Coming Out Day -- some big names have come out as Gay/Lesbian/Bi/Trans in the last year. More people are discovering it is nothing to be ashamed of, and then deciding to be honest.
Hunk du Jour salutes the brave public figures that are open and honest about their personal lives, as well as the millions of everyday Americans that have also made the courageous step.
If someone comes out to you today, be supportive and loving -- if you're gay, remember how it felt and create the support structure you had or needed.
There is something very sultry about Mr. Rua. I wasn't able to find out much about this model other than he is very hot! Hope you enjoy these pictures!
This week Justin Hartley appeared on Smallville as the Green Arrow. Did anyone catch his performance?

This is a lesson in "you don't know what you've got til' it's gone". Kyle Brandt is hot. But I used to hate him. He was a complete tool on his season of The Real World and when he first started acting on Days Of Our Lives as Phillip Kiriakis, his performances were so bad they were painful. But you know what? In the past year, Kyle has rocked as Phillip. His acting has improved 100% and after I got turned on to his website and his "Hate List", which I love him for, my Kyle Brandt hate has slowly turned to love. And now he's leaving Days Of Our Lives; this is his last week on the show (not sure if it was his idea or the show's). Kyle and his shoulders will be missed.

Brian enjoys golfing, fishing, and hanging out by the pool. He also plays basketball and volleyball and has a video on All-American Guys where he does a bunch of push-ups and then flexes his muscles a lot...
Heroes has been a suprise hit at our house, creating even more week-to-week buzz than the ladies of Wisteria Lane, and hunky Adrian Pasdar is one of the fine men who make up the cast of the show.
Did you know that the character of "Chipper" in Top Gun was actually written for the then 19-year old Adrian? And speaking of Wisteria Lane, if you are still having trouble placing him you might recognize him as Gabrielle's sleazy lawyer from last season.
Off-screen Adrian plays the role of husband and father, he and wife Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks have two children.

Ahh, Eddie Bilowich! I was torn on which picture to put up first. Usually in the model search you can find only a few good pictures. You're in luck, though... I was able to find SEVERAL for Mr. Bilowich, and they are all good.
I only wish I could find more of him smiling. He has such a great smile! However I am sure he would look smiling, frowning, laughing, crying or covered in mud. He just looks good.
Eddie currently is living in New York and we wish him the best in his career!

Austin Peck is very good-looking. He needs those good looks I think - he's not a very good actor. But I have always found his performance as the character Austin Reed on Days Of Our Lives to be completely enjoyable. I am a little sad that the Austin character has been written off the show again. This was Peck's third time back - I'm not counting him out for good. And seriously, his blog is the most unintentially hilarious thing I have read on the web in some time. Or maybe Peck is being ironic? Maybe he's secretly brilliant! It's possible. Whatever. He is lovely to look at.

Jeremy is a good friend of ours and is this week's MySpace highlight. Jeremy lives in Bellevue, WA and is currently single. He loves 3 M's - his mazda, his music, and his mom.
He is one of the nicest people that we have met in a long time and he has given us permission to post his pictures. Check out his MySpace profile and add him as a friend! Trust us, he is someone you would want to know.
The photography of Dylan Ricci is, in a word, stunning. His powerful images defy the cliches of male nude photography, the resulting work being beautifully distinct. He strips away the props, wilderness, and settings and focuses solely on the male body as his work.
Against simple black drops he manipulates his models' bodies into interesting poses, often embraces, while keeping their faces from view. Every sculpted muscle of the body's architecture is visible, yet the lack of identification makes the photos even more mysterious and (somehow) intimate.

Milo Ventimiglia (along with co-star Adrian Pasdar who plays his brother on the NBC show Heroes) appears on the cover of TV Guide this week -- and he's long been a favorite at Hunk du Jour.
Heroes is quickly becoming one of my favorite television shows of the season. Combining some compelling storylines and characters with a healthy helping of eye candy has kept it at the top of our TiVo Season Pass list -- where we're sure it will live for the forseeable future.
Milo captured our hearts back on the set of Gilmore Girls, where he played the bad boy with the heart of gold (that Rory should've ended up with, darnit!) -- picture binge after the jump.
B1 Model Management in New York has some great models within their agency. One that has recently caught our eye is Bryan Tubaugh. He currently goes to school at NAU in Flagstaff, AZ. He has a GREAT face and we hope we get to see more of him in the near future! I'm really not sure why he isn't already plastered all over magazines.

I sometimes wonder if Bryan Dattilo has "short man's complex" on the set of Days of Our Lives. He's definitely the shortest guy in the cast, and it seems like he's always trying to compensate for his lack of stature by walking around without his shirt (no complaints here). There was an episode a couple of months ago where Bryan's character Lucas was shirtless the entire time with blue silk pajama pants on.
But besides having nice pecs he's also one of the most consistent players. That's probably his biggest strength - the fact that he's played the same character since he was a teen. He IS Lucas Roberts. With new writers on board, they've promised that they are going to give Bryan more things to do - let's hope that he does them shirtless.
