In a moment of pure self indulgence and horn-tooting, I'd like to point out that it is the 5th anniversary of Doug and my first date.

Doug (pictured left) and I (right) began chatting with each other in April of 2001 on Gay.com. He was not looking for a relationship, and I was home sick for a month and a half with mono. My illness, however, didn't prevent him from constantly asking ME to bring HIM ice cream! We shared snarky comments about the other lads in the room, and got to talking about work.

After hearing where I worked, he started naming off people that worked for my company... name after name after name. I started to sweat, trying to figure out just exactly WHO at my company I was talking to, until he told me that his company did work for my company and that he wasn't my co-worker.

We met for a drink at the Bellevue, WA Red Robin (which has since moved locations) on May 4th, 2001. We've been celebrating it as our anniversary date ever since.

I love you, Doug!

Fresh from our anniversary trip to Vail, Colorado, we returned to find a shout-out from Best Gay Blogs which totally made our day!

Will & Grace had their season finale last night, putting the lid on a very funny and very successful show.

This weekend we went to see Poseidon, a remake of the classic movie where a band of passengers on an overturned cruiseliner make their way through the now-upside-down boat to the engine room and, perhaps, safety... Helping lead this group of unfortunates is the smoldering Josh Lucas.

Now, I'm not sure what rock I've been living under -- but I didn't know this man existed until last week when I saw him on Will & Grace. I'm quickly becoming a fan, however! He also appeared in the last year in Stealth -- which I didn't see, but it looked like Top Gun where the plane went rouge...

LOST kept my partner & I riveted to the screen last night for their 2-hour season finale. Doug noted that a new faux advertisement and web address appeared for the Hanso Foundation. We're also left questioning the fate of some of the castaways... will they be back for Season 3?

It's some of the best mind-twisting and head scratching television around today. And we can't get enough of it. Hurry back, castaways. =)

So in the comic books, apparently Colossus (played in the films by hottie Daniel Cudmore) is a gay mutant... My partner ran across the Gay League after some post-X-Men googling last night.

The movie was a decent action flick, and definitely enjoyable... however as our neighbor pointed out, you just didn't end up caring all that much. I'd suggest you just Netflix this one.

Dashboard Confessional is set to drop another record and start touring again to promote it, which means Chris Carrabba is about to work his way back into the hearts of boys and girls everywhere again... Check out the shirtless picture here!
