I'll admit it -- I'm a Gilmore Girls fan. And while they've been in a slump during Lorelai & Rory's "dark period" last night they were kicking ass and taking names.
Matt Czuchry plays Logan, Rory's love interest, on the show and I have a love-hate relationship with him. (This week he scored some points in the "love" column) -- but aside from his character, he's an attractive young man. He was also the captain of the tennis team in college, and was named Mr. College of Charleston in 1998.

Ever since I saw Amelie for the first time, Mathieu Kassovitz has held a soft spot in my heart. I saw the midnight showing of Amelie at the Egyptian Theatre in Seattle tonight... so I just felt the need to share a whopping 17 PHOTOS of Mathieu with you... enjoy!
Twelve more after the jump!
Go Hawks!
It's Superbowl Sunday, when hordes of viewers huddle around televisions with loads of junk food to watch athletic men get in a line and bend over towards the camera. Between the butts and clever advertisements, even this sports event is something gay men and women can get behind!
The Hunk du Jour team will be camped out at corrospondent Manuel Ortiz's football headquarters this afternoon to watch the game -- hurriedly taking notes in preparation for a post-game report to be filed tomorrow.
We're interested in your thoughts too -- WHO WAS THE HUNK OF THE GAME? -- be sure to leave your comments here!

We're glad to kick things off with a photo montage of Seahawks players Shaun Alexander and folically-but-not-sexily challenged Matt Hasselbeck (we love the baldie!).

See all the photos after the jump!
Sorry, Hines Ward, you may have been named the game's MVP -- but a gentleman with an interesting name caught my eye yesterday. After throwing my tear-soaked pillow into the dryer he's ready to be named...
Lofa Tatupu, you're the Hunk of the Game!

More photos after the jump!
You don't see many memes on this blog, but I did want to mention that I created a Frappr Guest Map that you can add yourself to. Pin your location on the world map, add a photo and more!
I know we have a BUNCH of international readers -- pin the map and represent your country! It only takes a minute. :)

Fred Savage stars as Mitch Crumb in ABC's Crumbs with Jane Curtin and Eddie McClintock. Fred is looking great, and brings a sweet innocence to his character (whose family doesn't know he's gay... he hides issues of Playbill inside Playboy!). Eddie plays his brother Jody, the chef at their family restaurant.
This week's episode finds Mitch falling for his mother's handsome co-worker (Rider Strong, from Boy Meets World) at the pioneer farm/museum. Mitch's new beau won't date him unless he's out to his family, though -- and the episode ends with a goodbye.
The Hunk du Jour oddsmakers aren't ready to make a prediction on this show's fate -- it's cute and sweet, some appropriate sitcom fare. Check it out next on Thursday 2/16 -- who knows if this is a permanent timeslot shift... hopefully ABC doesn't kill it by hiding it in a different place each week.

Towleroad brings us a shot of Jeremy Bloom who has a HOT new ad campaign out there for Equinox Fitness Clubs... if that isn't motivating I don't know what is!!

Thanks Troy!

Joey Cheek won bronze at the Salt Lake City games in the 1000m speed skating competition. He'll compete tomorrow for a medal this time around. These Olympics are really heating up!

Welcome to our new readers! You can sign up for Hunk du Jour via E-mail by using the subscription form in the left column, or you can add it to your Google, My Yahoo!, or RSS Newsreader pages!
Newlywed Evgeny Plushenko won silver at Salt Lake City and turned heads this season with his wildly popular "Sex Bomb" routine. While he's got a killer jump sequence in his arsenal (quadruple toe loop-triple toe loop-triple loop... really!) will it be enough to bring home gold from Torino? We'll see during his first event tonight!
Three more after the quadruple toe loop-triple toe loop-triple loop! (the jump!)
Johnny Weir has been getting a lot of attention around the blog world this week. A Socialite's Life & Towleroad featured some classic figure skater pin-up action, while The Malcontent serves up an uproarious pop-up video style commentary on his television profile reel they showed before his performance.

Johnny classifies himself as a princess. And describes his skating style as more of a boozin' and coke-snortin' kind of figure skating. He's 5 years my junior, and yet I somehow feel decades older than him. :) I guess that makes him the Bode Miller of ice skating... or maybe Bode is the Johnny of skiing!
More photos of (a clothed) Johnny after the jump -- coming up next: Sexy Swiss Stephane Lambiel!

American Idol is heading towards the semi-finals... which means now we get names and faces on the American Idol web site! Our two favorites are Ace & Chris.

Honorable mentions under the heading of call us in 10 years are David & Will. They're 17 and 16 years old, though... don't be gross.

Even though my Olympic-crush Evan Lysacek had a bad short program yet a stellar long program -- we are very happy that Stephane Lambiel made such a good showing and ended up with the silver medal in men's figure skating.

French Figure Skater Brian Joubert may have only come in 6th place in the Torino Olympics - but that hasn't stopped him from being a favorite amongst some of you. Here's a selection of photos I found this morning.

The Olympics are starting to wind down, so it'll be another couple years until Olympic fever sets in again with the Summer games. Don't worry, new readers -- this isn't just a hot olympian / hot athlete site, the party will continue with our regular round-up of various other hunks. So, subscribe to the RSS feed or for the e-mail version of the blog (sign-up box in the left column), set us as a bookmark or better yet -- your home page!
Brian Joubert was recommended to us by a reader. Who was your favorite?
Outsports' Jim Buzinski has awarded his medals for the Hot Jocks of the Games.

Silver Medal: Joey Cheek (USA speed skating)

Bronze Medal: Tobias Angerer (German cross-country skiing)
Outsports: 2006 Torino Hot Jocks (Full List)
...anyone starting the countdown to the Summer Games yet? ;)
